MacSLIP can now be scripted with Apple Events. The MacSLIP Apple Events application is installed (under System 7) into the Startup Items folder. If you don't want to use Apple Events with MacSLIP, you may remove that file. See the AppleScript Examples folder for examples of simple scripts. MacSLIP Apple Events has an 'aete' resource which may be viewed with Apple's Script Editor to get a full list of events which are supported.
